Friends with Benefits
We like to do things differently here at MDWA, so we’ve launched a unique committed giving program centered around loyalty and strength in numbers – aptly named Friends with Benefits!
By becoming a Friend with Benefits, you’ll have access to a range of tangible goodies and discount offers, be part of a group of great people giving regularly to MDWA and, most importantly, will make an actual difference to those living with MD and NMCs.
All we ask for is 10 bucks a week. Yep, that’s it!
Why $10? Well it’s about the same amount you probably pay for a pint of beer or glass of wine and we are only asking you to give up one of them a week so we think it’s a reasonable ask!
We know not everyone wants to fork out their total donation upfront, so we’ve made it simple – you can set up an auto direct EFT transfer of $10 weekly, $20 fortnightly or $43 monthly.
In return, not only will you be doing a good deed (that will have a real impact), you’ll also receive a nice little bounty along the way.
Here are the details…
There are a 3 milestones you reach throughout your annual membership, based on you being paid up-to-date.
After your first month you’ll get:
One MDWA branded metal water bottle (the one we are currently giving away features artwork painted by kids with MD)
A double movie pass to Grand Cinemas
A complimentary Rottnest ferry return ticket with Sealink
A 25% discount card for use at Clancy’s Fish Pub, Canning Bridge (for multiple use)
A 20% discount code to use at Just In Time Gourmet (for multiple use)
A 10% discount card for use at Kailis Bros Leederville (for multiple use)
Then, at 6 months you’ll get:
A bottle of wine from MyattsField Vineyards, our wine friends (there’s 5 glasses of wine back already ;))
An invite to our annual MDWA Community Day in November so you get to meet some of the people you’re helping throughout the year (and drink some bubbles and have a great time too, of course)
And finally, on your 1 year anniversary you’ll get:
A gift from our friends at Just In Time Gourmet
Where does the money go?
Like all donations made to us, your money will help us to provide services such as counselling, CoughAssistTM machines, NDIS support, social programs and advocacy to our community. It’ll also mean that we can continue to support research projects in the neuromuscular field.
